LETTER FROM CEO, RICK GILL

RE: Pony Club Nationals Update – Benalla, Victoria 26 September to 2 October 2021

I am writing to give all our WA members an update on the Pony Club Nationals to be held in Benalla, regional Victoria commencing 26 October later this year.

While Covid-19 has been a huge disruptor to Pony Club in 2020, the Victorian Nationals Committee are busy planning what is likely to be best championships ever. With the current state of the pandemic in Australia, and the rollout of vaccines imminent, the Victorian committee are confident at this stage the 2021 PCA National Championship are set to go ahead as planned, however are very much aware that the Covid-19 situation can change rapidly. If there is any risk or borders are restricted Pony Club Victoria will provide information on cancellation or deferring of the Nationals with plenty of warning.

Please note the 2021 PCA National Championship will not be going ahead if not all states can attend (and subsequently return) and will not be risking members health.

The Nationals only come around every 2 years, and I am very much looking forward to a strong WA team travelling to Benalla and achieving great results for WA.

With that in mind, I encourage all of our WA members who are thinking of attending to continue to train and to meet the selection criteria which can be found in the tabs below and to register your expressions of interest.

Kind Regards,
Rick Gill
