DEVELOP YOUR KNOWLEDGE • BUILD YOUR SKILLS • SUPPORT YOUR RIDERS

The Central Zone, is pleased to offer an exciting educational opportunity for Pony Club members, coaches, volunteers and supporters interested in developing the skills and knowledge needed to assist riders progressing through the Pony Club syllabus.

This weekend is designed to support:

• Existing coaches
• New and aspiring coaches
• Volunteers assisting at Pony Club events
• Anyone keen to learn more about rider development and horse management

No coaching accreditation is required to attend but you must be a current member of PCWA. 

EVENT FOCUS

Topics are specifically targeted towards supporting riders through their Pony Club certificate pathway, while equipping coaches and volunteers with practical strategies to guide riders through both practical and theoretical learning.

A key focus of the weekend will include:

• Supporting riders through the Pony Club Certificate syllubus
• Supporting the OTT (Off-The-Track) horse transitioning from racing into general riding within the Pony Club environment
• Developing practical coaching skills
• Gear checking knowledge and assessment opportunities

• Practical Assessment – Gear Checking
