Become an
Accredited
Photographer
We welcome applications from creative, experienced photographers who are over 16 and have a love of horses and the outdoors, to become accredited Pony Club WA photographers.
WHAT YOU'RE COMMITTING TO
By applying for accreditation as a Pony Club WA photographer you agree to:
- Abide by the relevant Pony Club WA policies including the Visual Images Policy, Procedures and all other relevant Pony Club WA policies and Codes of Conduct which can be found under publications for photographers on the Publications page of this website.
- Maintain current and appropriate public liability insurance cover and advise of the details OR notify Pony Club WA AND any member clubs who request your services, of your decision not take out insurance cover. Please note that Pony Club WA and member clubs reserve the right to refuse to use your services in the event that you decline to insure yourself appropriately.
- Provide Pony Club WA with access to a selection of photographs from Pony Club state events that you attend as an accredited photographer at no charge, to be used for promotional purposes. This includes presentation photographs taken at state events and a maximum of 10 digital competitor photographs taken at state events, chosen by a Pony Club WA representive.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To become a Pony Club WA accredited photographer you must:
- Be aged 16 years and over (compulstory)
- Have a current Working With Children Check (compulsory)
- Be a current member of Pony Club WA as an unmounted official (free) or higher through Pony Club Direct (compulsory)
- May also be a member of a club through Pony Club WA eg as a volunteer
- Identify yourself as an Official Photographer in your Pony Club membership profile on Just Go (compulsory)
- Have your own public liability insurance cover as you are not covered by Pony Club WA insurance (recommended but not compulsory)
HOW TO APPLY
Once you are satisfied that you meet the eligibility requirements above, complete the Pony Club WA Accredited Photographer Application Form using the link below.
AFTER EACH STATE EVENT THAT YOU ATTEND
At the conclusion of each Pony Club WA state event that you attend as an accredited photographer, we require that you share a link to your image library from the event by emailing us at marketing@ponyclubwa.asn.au as soon after the event as practical.
We will select a small number of images to be used for promotional purposes on platforms including but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, website use, newspaper and magazine articles, promotional material and sponsorship proposals and notify you as quickly as we can with our selection of:
- low-res digital copies of presentation photos from the event
- low-res digital copies of a maximum of 10 competitor photos from the event
