How to join Pony Club
Joining Pony Club is easy and open to everyone
Riders aged between 4 and 25 can join any pony club that suits their location and riding goals. Some clubs now offer the adult rider memberships.
Own a Horse?
1. MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES & FEES
Take a look at our membership categories, which are broadly grouped into Rallies & Competition memberships, Competitions Only/ Coaching & Officials memberships.
2. FIND AN ACCREDITED CLUB AND CONTACT THEM
The first step towards joining a new Pony Club, is working out which club you’d like to join.
Once you’ve done that, you can contact the club using the contact information on this website for more information and ask any questions you may have.
Every club has a secretary who will be able to answer your questions and help you get started.
If you are joining for One event, top up, open membership, you will join Pony Club WA Direct as your club.
If you are joining as a non -riding unpaid or paid coach or an official or judge, you will join Pony Club WA direct as your club. You will need a working with children card as well to join these categories
3. SIGN UP TO JUST GO
Your chosen club will help you become a temporary member if you’d like to do a Come and Try Rally before committing, or a full member if you’re ready to go ahead.
To do that, you will need to create a Just Go Profile and then register as a member to ensure that you’re fully insured for the activities you will be participating in.
If you are joining for one event, or as a top up or open rider, a non riding un paid coach, a non riding paid coach or an official you will need to join with Pony Club WA Direct as your chosen club ( instead of a specific nominated club). You can join as a Pony Club supporter of a club and still be listed as an official or judge under Pony Club Direct.
4. COME TO YOUR FIRST RALLY
Once you’re a temporary or full member of a club and Pony Club WA, you can come along to your first rally to see for yourself what Pony Club is all about.
If you are a one event, top up or open rider we look forward to seeing you out and about at Pony Club events and Championships this year.
