YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM – CONGRATULATIONS TO NICOLA LACHENICHT

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Congratulations Nicola Lachenicht, Serpentine Horse and Pony Club, for being the first Associate Riding Member to gain their Preliminary Coaching Accreditation through the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSCI) funded Youth Development Program.

This funded program has enabled Youth Leaders the opportunity to enhance their skills and knowledge and achieve their PC-NCAS Preliminary, Level 1 Coaching Accreditation or Gear Checker Accreditation through specialised mentoring and seminars at club and state level.

The Pony Club WA State Coaching Panel has delivered specialised coaching seminars through webinars and face to face sessions as well as provided one on one support to the group of Associate Riding members engaged in the program.

We look forward to news of more successful accreditation’s over the coming months and are pleased that the Association can contribute to the personal development of our young leaders.

The State Government through the Department of Local Government Sport, and Cultural Industries and Lotterywest is a major supporter of Pony Club Western Australia. Sport and recreation builds stronger, healthier, happier and safer communities.
