R U OK? Day is almost here

03/09/2026

On Thursday 10 September, people across Australia will come together to mark R U OK?Day, our National Day of Action and a reminder to Ask R U OK? Any Day.

In workplaces large and small, community groups and sporting clubs, schools and homes, people will be asking, ‘are you OK?’  and having meaningful conversations that strengthen connection with the people around them.

As a member of our R U OK? community, you can play an important role by sharing free R U OK? conversation resources, organising an event or activity, wearing yellow to spark conversations, or sharing a personal story about the power of a genuine check-in.

Or perhaps the most important thing you can do is reach out to someone who’s been on your mind and say: “Are you OK? I care about you, and I’m here if you want to talk.”

If someone’s been on your mind, trust that instinct. If you’re thinking it, Ask R U OK? Any Day, because a conversation could change a life.

Our interactive Guide to Supporting R U OK? contains tips, ideas, activities and shortcut links to resources to help you encourage more regular, life-changing conversations and genuinely share our message. It has everything you need to get involved, including suggested wording for social media posts, newsletter and email templates. There are lots of resources for your club to use.
