Pony Club WA High Performance Camp 2020

With the generous support of Careers in Racing, Pony Club WA is excited to announce news of our inaugural High Performance Camp.

The High Performance Camp will take place over 2 days with the programme covering lessons with experienced coaches for each discipline as well as educational sessions such as fitness training, horse health and many more.

With Nationals 2021 in the near future, this camp is targeted at our high performing riders in each discipline.

EVENT DETAILS

Date:                               21st & 22nd November 2020
Location:                        Serpentine Horse and Pony Club
Cost:                               $175 per rider
Inclusions:                      Both days of coaching, 2020 High Performance Polo, Saturday Night Meal (rider only), Ground Fee.

                                          Numbers are limited.

                                          State Sport Committees will review all applications in accordance with selection policy.

                                          Successful applicants will be notified by email and invoiced as appropriate.

Active Riding

Junior
1. Must have C Certificate by 1st June 2020
2. Horse/Rider combination to have competed in at least PPMG Semi Final Competition

Senior
1. Must have C* Certificate by 30th June 2020
2. Horse/Rider combination to have competed in at least PPMG Semi Final Competition

Rider Performance Diary – Dressage

Eventing

Sub junior and Junior participants must be 16 years and under as of the 1st January

Competed a minimum of 3 competitions (height on 80cm or above) with a dressage score of no more than 75 penalties; showjumping no more than 16 penalties including jump and time faults; cross country no more than 65 penalties including jump and time faults.

Senior participants must be between 17 and 24 years as of the 1st January.  Competed a minimum of 3 competitions (height 95cm or above) with a dressage score of no more than 75 penalties; showjumping no more than 16 penalties including jump and time faults; cross country no more than 65 penalties including jump and time faults.

Tetrathlon

CRITERIA/REQUIREMENT

Please note:

  1. Must have achieved a minimum of 1500 points as a total of the three unmounted phases at minimum of two Tetrathlon events in the previous 18 months.
  2. Must have successfully completed two or more competition rounds of Hickstead or Cross Country at the minimum heights or higher set out below for each age group.

Vaulting

Must have attended a minimum of 3 rallies in 2020.

Must hold one for of Pony Club WA Membership (be a financial member).

Must have attended one or more of the following events during the nomination period:

    • 2019/2020 Pony Club WA State Active Riding Qualifier
    • 2019/2020 Pony Club WA State Active Riding Championship
    • 2019/2020 Vaulting Camp under instruction
    • FEI/EA Registered Coach

Applications are open to the following levels:

    • Preliminary
    • Pre-Novice
    • Novice
    • Intermediate
